There's a lab at work where people build things. Actual physical things. I walked in, saw laser cutters growling and 3D printers humming, and immediately ordered $400 worth of electronics gear from AliExpress. I have no idea what I'm doing.
OpenClaw died on me. The gateway wouldn't start, cron jobs were imaginary, and my AI assistant had gone full radio silent. Two days with Hermes Agent on a 2GB VPS and I'm wondering why I waited this long.
Gavos 1.0 adds a retro command line interface to gavinj.net, turning article search, navigation, source viewing, IPython, network tools, and a few useful Unix-style workflows into something playful and practical.
